Gossip Girl Episode 5.17 Preview: The Princess Dowry / The Life and Times of Dair (+Photos)

By Bags Hooper
Posted: Feb 22, 2012

After two years of debating the validity of Dair, the Gossip Girl producers have finally made up their mind.

Dair is most certainly here to stay – at least until the end of Gossip Girl Season 5. In the final moments of “Cross Rhodes”, Blair kissed Dan without any regret. And, she did it right in front of her best friend, Serena. She’s through trying to hide her feelings. It was also the first time we saw any genuine sparks from Blair. Before “Cross Rhodes”, the relationship was always one sided. Dan would stare at Blair with his sad dog look and she would never reciprocate his emotional outcries. Then, Dan decided to stand up for himself and let Blair know that he wanted “more than friends” or nothing at all.

But, don’t count Chuck Bass out of the picture just yet. He faces his own crossroads of ...

White Collar Season 3 Episode 15 Review: I Go To Burke

By Ernie Estrella
Posted: Feb 22, 2012

In the penultimate episode of Season 3 of White Collar, Neal (Matt Bomer) and Mozzie (Willie Garson) get scouted to help out Gordon Taylor, an elusive contract con man moved into New York City for his next job and always hires local. He never gets caught and all the men on his jobs get paid, handsomely. The target, Yankee Stadium, and more specifically, a piece of Yankee history, a home run ball hit by The Babe. But Neal has to be careful as his commutation hearing is coming up so he can’t do anything that could end up as ammunition used against him.

But this is White Collar, where everything auspiciously comes together to move the story along. The cons run sexy and smooth and no matter how great of a con man they target, in this case, Taylor, they never seems to be enough chatter amongst thieves that Neal ...

Happy Margarita Day! A Celebration that’s Justified

By Bags Hooper
Posted: Feb 22, 2012

It’s National Margarita Day and today we’re mixing our margaritas with Don Julio tequila. If your a fan of Justified on FX, we’ve also got one particular tequila that would delight Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) and Boyd Crowder (Walton Goggins).

The Don Julio Blanco and Reposado tequilas are two entry level tequilas that offer a light, smooth taste. Similar to Patron Silver, the Blanco is not aged – meaning it’s made and bottled immediately. The Blanco has a light floral smell thanks to the 100% agave. Hints of pepper and citrus fruits (most noticeably lime) make this an ideal starting drink to go with your favorite tapas.

This Blanco is crisp enough to drink neat, but since it is Margarita day, you can mix it with Grand Marnier to make a Margarita Legendario. Please please DO NOT use any ready made margarita mix. It will wash away the subtle ...

‘Bethenny Ever After’ Season 3 Premiere Review: Mo’ Money, Mo’ Problems

By Melody Simpson
Posted: Feb 21, 2012

Bethenny Ever After returned for season three last night, bringing our favorite housewife back to the small screen after a seemingly never ending hiatus. It has been far too long since Bethenny and her humor have been in our lives week to week, so it’s no wonder season three returned with great ratings and great laughs.

Season three begins where season two left off, right after the selling of Skinnygirl Cocktails. It’s not the end for Skinnygirl though as Frankel is determined to make this a brand, an empire. So we follow her at the Skinnygirl Sangria Launch Party and watch her discuss a bit of her new line, Skinnygirl Face and Body in her office. Whoa, that office! Bethenny Frankel has added quite a few people to her dream team and hasn’t accommodated for the company growth with a bigger office. So overpopulation has settled for ...

March 15 Marks The Return of ‘Community’

By Ernie Estrella
Posted: Feb 21, 2012

Pass a paczki, now there’s a real reason to gorge on delicious sweets treats on Fat Tuesday and celebrate the start of Mardi Gras. The internet waited and waited and yes, waited for word of when Community would get back on the air and finally, we have a date. Creator Dan Harmon jumped on twitter Tuesday afternoon to say that Community‘s third season will resume with the first of 12 unseen episodes on Thursday, March 15th and 8pm.

“What you call 8:00, we call home,” tweeted Harmon before announcing the return date.

• Yvette Brown who plays Shirley responded: Here’s your answer, everybody!
• Alison Brie who plays Annie replied on Twitter: “YAYAYAYAYAYAYAYA!!!!”

NBC’s Bob Greenblatt was reluctant at TCA’s to discuss the future of Community, only saying it would return at a later date. On the internet, outrage was expressed that Community was the one who was sacrificed ...

‘Smash’ Episode 3: ‘Enter Mr. DiMaggio’ – The Hit NBC Series Starts To Have a Bit of Fun

By Mo Fathelbab
Posted: Feb 21, 2012

So, it’s starting to look like Smash is slowly settling into the groove that it’s been looking for the past two episodes. For the most part, it’s a rather reassuring sign that it is doing so this early in its run. There are still some trouble spots but characters are starting to be fleshed out in a manner that is not off putting. And matters that might have slipped into ham-fisted cliches haven’t yet. That’s very, very good — especially for a network show.

“Enter Mr. DiMaggio” may not win any awards for the best episode of television ever but it lays down a couple of new, much needed ground rules that will help steer Smash for the rest of the season. Firstly, that Ellis (Jaime Cepero) isn’t 100% annoying nor 100% conniving or even 100% gay (I really thought he was). He wants credit for giving the creators the ...

Fans of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have a lot to look forward to this fall when their heroes in a half shell return to TV. The new series will be an action-comedy with a lot of slapstick, wacky humor from Michelangelo. In the initial preview we saw, there was a lot of physical humor surrounding Mikey’s character that should immediately grab younger audiences.

Playmates Toys have once again has partnered with the franchise to bring fans an excellent toy series. We’ve assembled over 60 photos of the new toy line, which is scheduled for release later this year. All of the toys are full posable, and there are a lot of different varieties of vehicles and figures to collect. ‘The Voice’ Season 2 Episode 4 Review: Blind Auditions Part 4

By Melody Simpson
Posted: Feb 21, 2012

This week on The Voice, the coaches prepared to round out their teams of twelve in preparation for the big battle to come. Artists made decisions that they had not initially intended to make when joining teams and coaches made decisions that were very similar to their choices in season one… all while raising the bar. It came down to the wire and the coaches were passing on some fierce talent if they weren’t completely blown away or willing to help craft an artist in time for the big win. This week’s talent may have in fact shown us some of the best this season.

Ducky opened up the fourth part of the blind auditions with “Tighten Up” and it’s times like these the “blind” part of the auditions came in handy. Blake Shelton may have appreciated his look but it’s not a magic show and that’s ...
